Constance, 2009
Constance is two connected works that include five still images and a short HD video. Images of women;s handkerchiefs crumpled, stained with lipsticked and smudged with mascara are suggestive of a womans grieving process. The fabric is floating, spinning slowly and quivering as if manipulated by an unseen hand in a significant moment of loss.
