Sketch, 2010, Work in Progress
These portraits are of youth artists involved in a studio based project, Sketch. Located in Toronto, this venture is an artistic space for street-involved and at-risk youth.
The people involved in working at Sketch believe in the power of the arts and its potential to empower people who are marginalized in our society. The Sketch youth work within an apprentice and immersive production model; participants work in partnership with practicing artists who share their skills while encouraging the youth to develop new ones as they work together on artistic projects.
