Glance is a series of fifteen images of hands photographed in museums over a period of five years. These hands were appropriated from romantic and allegorical paintings. In each image, hands are in the process of holding, caressing, or are in repose. Taken out of their context and printed in an oval format, each image's reading becomes more open, but still alludes to the original narrative. Black and white gelatin silver prints, 11" x 14", edition of five.
