Roses, Winds and Other Stories, 1992:  This body of work, is comprised of nine works and is arranged as sequential stories of five to seven images in each piece. This work allows the viewer glimpses into passing moments, periods of change, confusion and growth. Although the work was developed from my experience, they are visual fictions to be read so that the viewer may bring their own experiences in interpreting the images. Roses, Winds and Other Stories looks to both film and the short story for its structure, with its use of layering both personal and historical imagery. Black and white silver fibre-based prints, 16" x 20" to 20" x 24", each image, depending on the sequence.
