Model Chairs (Provenance Unknown): These images are part of seven recent, related bodies of work that explore issues of value, provenance, authorship and the structures in place for the teaching of art. I starting working with the sets and props available in the drawing and painting department at OCADU. This resource is an eclectic collection of still life objects, furniture and fabric. Many of these props have a long history:  I remember them from the time when I was in at the school struggling to learn to paint.
