Installed in 2018 Wind is a public artwork produced for the Humber River Hospital Development. For this project I was inspired by my lifelong observations and connection to the shore and waterways of Toronto. I am particularly interested in the transitions in the landscape: how the shore forms the grassy meadows and the wetlands as the river and the land merge. Wind is an overlay of multiple images taken over a three-week period during times when it was very windy and the sun was intense. This work is a continuation of my process of observation, discovery and repeated documentation of familiar landscapes.

In this project I was the lead artist overseeing all milestones and worked with artists Neil Mcclelland and Talia Shipman.

working was with a team from Public Art Management, Soheil Mosun Limited and Infrastructure Ontario for Humber River Hospital.
